    Looks like bug poop to me. I’d check around for aphids or worms.

      I did! Planted on Mother’s Day. I’ve also got this Polly I’ve been nursing from a bulb since my dog broke it in January. They aren’t kidding when they say alocasias are slow growers.

      I’ve never saw them planted outside of the soil. I cover mine with soil. My Black Magic ones are taking forever.
