How can I save my dahlia
How can I save my dahlia
Maybe look for insects. It might be that soil dried out and plants are trying to recover. Plants that love sun like dahlias do can still struggle to stay hydrated and cool enough in really hot high heat. If you’re in a place that has had a lot of rainy weather for much of the summer so far might have made them unprepared for the drastic change of full sun vs partly cloudy…? Does any of this seem like it might apply to your situation?

Yes. It seems like I remember rainy years being hard on the dahlias I’ve grown. In fact, it reminded me why I did. Powdery mildew. It’s very common outside. The rainy weather that caused my plants to sick because the leaves stayed wet often enough (impossible not to in rainy years) that powdery mildew easily set in. There’s info about it when you look up dahlias and click the tab on that main (info) page. Look at tab with “white” growth something That will tell you about it. There’s all kinds of talk about it on gardening sites because it’s so common. Sorry it took a while to get back with you. Hopefully you’re having more luck.
