Does anyone know what could’ve caused this? The plant is new, I’ve had it for about a week. I also have it on a stand that happens to be right on top of my ac, do you guys think the cold ac might’ve caused this?

    Definitely could be, cold drafts can produce symptoms similar to overwatering. If you can, check the roots to put your mind at ease, but I’d hazard a guess that the AC is the culprit.
