hey y’all! this snake plant is one of my oldest and I don’t think it’s put out any new leaves for atleast 2 or 3 years now 😅 it hasn’t died or anything, it just stopped doing anything! to me, the leaves do have a discoloration to them compared to what they looked like before and seem a little shriveled. I have noticed a very small, slow growing baby in the soil so that looks promising. i’ve repotted within the last year and he has fertilizer. any ideas of what could be happening ?

My snake plant is also really slow growing. I got him in January and repotted him, and he’s only just started to get a new leaf. There’s a new baby that hasn’t grown in four months. But it seems healthy. I think it might just be very sensitive to repotting and because it doesn’t grow as quickly as other plants, it looks like it’s stopped. I’d just be patient. Don’t overwater or over fertilize, and just see what happens. 💚

Is it a taller leaf? I have one like that and I think it’s just gotten too heavy and the skinnier bottom can’t support it. I saw a video that suggested propagating.

    They are slow grower plants.

If it’s not already move it closer to a light source? I put my smaller snake plant outside for the summer and it shot up in size!
