Hey all, was just curious why my Chinese money tree does this. It’s thriving but sometimes the leaves just turn white. I’m a curious lad and you’re all quite knowledgeable so I thought this would be more interesting than asking Lady Google. The light is good/filtered as it’s through glass. Thanks for the tips in advance!

It could be that it is not getting the nutrients that it needs hav you tried a fertilizer or the type of soil that it’s in

I was thinking it looks like the oldest leaf so could be natural timing BUT I agree with above too. Have you repotted it? It possibly won’t grow bigger if it’s maxed out the pot, and therefore also not able to get enough nutrients. Quite possible it isn’t getting enough light on top of that (even though that’s a lovely bright workspace 🧑‍🔬).

It’s also s growing so as long as it grows you know the baby is happy but I agree that it may need repotted because you never want to keep your plant in a pot that restricts its growth

Are you letting it dry out before watering again?
