I recommend watching Summer Rayne Oakesâ Houseplant 101 YouTube playlist. Lots of the advice in plant websites and resources is vague and doesnât tell you the reasons behind mistakes and plant issues. Try that before you give up âșïž

Learning by âfailureâ is successful learning in my mind. There are a plethora of amazing You tube planty people to endlessly learn from for each and every plant and problem. Donât give up! Just dive deeper. The only thing that makes plant care difficult is the not knowing.
7 gillningarThank you! Iâm going to start watching YouTube videos. And youâre right. The learning process IS a series of errors. My poor plants though. Theyâve suffered.
2 gillningarI get it!! I would say until it doesnât give you any more joy. Iâve learned SO much from following a lot of plant Instagram pages. Thatâs where Iâve gotten most of my knowledge. And while I scroll Instagram (which I usually do daily) Iâm learning more about plants! Its also my experience that this app is very heavy handed on watering which is the main reason most plants die (in my experience). I would keep that in mind!
