Hey guys! Does anyone know why my Basil is turning brown in the middle of the stem? I checked the roots and they are healthy so it can’t be root rot.

    Is there any other damage to the plant like could it possibly be a pest? The rest of the plant looks healthy so I wouldn’t imagine it to be a condition like light, watering ect. Looks like something has damaged it.

      No, there’s no leaves that have bites taken out or are browning. The leaves that were there wilted and fell off but they didn’t have any holes in them either

      Maybe it’s a viral thing I don’t really see anything conditional so I’m thinking a disease or pest to be honest
