Help! I was given this snake plant from my grandma and thought it was doing very well. It even has a new pup growing. However I’ve just noticed this odd mold/fungus growing between the leaves. Anyone know what this is or what I can do for it? I am repotting with new soil but should I use a new pot as well?

i’m no expert but my peace lily had mold once and i watched a bunch of videos and asked others and they told me to just leave it alone, you can scrap it off for appearance purposes but it doesn’t hurt the plant. What i did to help the mold is bottom watering just so the top doesn’t stay super moist. hope this helps and works for you

Slime mold. It won’t hurt your plant, you can scrape it off if the appearance bothers you. It just means that your soil is staying wet for too long. Make sure your snake plant is drying out between waterings. Put it in a bright spot with good airflow!
