I have little black bugs killing my tomato and jalapeño plant. They are even starting to move to some of my flowers :( Does anyone know how to get rid of these?? Are they spider mites? 🤔

Might be aphids. Spider mites are usually red or white. If they are aphids, just a string blast of water on the plant once or twice a day should be enough to get rid of them

Spider mites are generally white, but most bugs can be dealt with using neem oil or insecticidal soap. If you don’t have any, I would put some dish soap and water in a spray bottle and give it a good soak with that.

I did find some neem oil yesterday. I sprayed them yesterday and still saw them this morning so sprayed again. How long do you think I should keep spraying them?

Sometimes it can help to put something on top of the soil like rocks or Leca to discourage bugs. I would rinse the current (probably dead) bugs off and spray with oil again for a few days
