Ever since I bought my prayer plant about one leaf a weak has been yellowing- the tips of the plant when i first got it began to brown but not all the way. During the spring it produced some beautiful big leafs but now it’s stagnant. My question is how do i stop the yellowing of the leafs? And how do I make my prayer plant happy haha?! Thanks!

These plants can be sensitive to minerals in tap water. I water mine with distilled water. Also, it’s a fine balance between keeping the soil moist but not overwatering. It may also just be adjusting to its new home and be in a bit of shock.

Yes, I just buy it at the grocery store. Almost all of my plants get distilled water now. It’s just easier than to try and remember which ones need it. I live on the west coast and have “good” water out of the tap, but these plant babies - woooeeeee they get what they need! 😊🤣

I purchased a water distiller from Amazon to make my own. It's cheaper in the long run and saves a ton of plastic.
