I had this in the window when the brown spots popped up. I’ve had it about 3 weeks and watered twice and was thinking the sun burned it and moved it away about 6 ft and there are more popping up ???

InkedgirlCSame. I’m going to check for a root cage when I repot tomorrow. Lowes by any chance?

Wire cages are wrapped around rootballs to prevent them from falling apart during shipping. Most trees and large shrubs now come with the cages. If these are not removed it stunts the growth and the plant will start to rot. I had a great diffenbachia, beautiful. Went down hill. When it was dead I found the root cage which wash like mesh burlap almost. The roots will grow thru it and hide it sometimes. When you transplant check out the root system well.

alexmines been getting brown spots and it’s not in direct sunlight (when they get sunburnt the underside of the leaf goes red)- perhaps its a watering schedule thing?

MissGrace103Mine did that too!!! I treated it as a bacterial/fungal infection. Cut all the rotting leaves off, and sprayed it with a sulfur based anti fungal (was made for veggies). It is very bare looking, but I have not had an issue since and it’s been 1 month.
