Hey guys! My watermelon pepperomia has really been struggling, and i’m wondering if it has root rot. I checked the roots, but have no idea what root rot looks like. The roots are very thin and break incredibly easily. They also won’t take water. Can you tell if it seems to be root rot? Any helpful tips or is it beyond saving?

    clean the roots. are they brown and squishy? if they are, it’s root rot. if they aren’t but they are breaking apart easily, it could just be new roots

    You could always propagate it from a stem or leaf cutting and start over :)

    3% hydrogen peroxide spray on roots, don’t rinse, and plant and water
