Hi there! Cross posting this here: I received this birdās nest plant as a gift and, while repotting her, noticed these small white insects. Can anyone tell me what they are and if theyāre harmful? Iāve searched some and think they may be garden centipedes so Iām thinking I should probably clean off the root ball but I just wanted to be sure. Thanks!
i literally just found some of those in my creeping jenny. weird?
1 Like Right! Iāve never seen experienced these before. I removed the soil and cleaned off the roots just to be safe

In small numbers they will not hurt your plant and just eat decaying matter in your soil. I have read if they run out of stuff to eat in the dirt, they can start munching on your plantā¦ so Iād recommend starting fresh with new soil since youāve got it out of the pot anyways āŗļø and put the dirt and those cute little fellas outside so they can find a new home š
