Hey guys, I just got a string of hearts in the mail but it looks like it had a rough time getting here (It took 5 days so thatās probably why) but I was wondering if thereās anything I need to know or do to help it live?

All I know is have a well-draining pot and donāt over-water! Likes part sun best, but accepts full sun. If you JUST got it, they donāt recommend repotting, watering, or sunning the plant for the first couple days when sent through the mail. Hope that helps!
1 gillaI watered it before I read this but not too much so I hope I didnāt hurt itš„² Thank you so much for the advice!!

Itās okay! Iāve just killed one before from over watering and it hurt my heart. Plus theyāre kind of hard to find and expensive. Just let her dry out well before the next wateringā¦too little is better than too much. And donāt get any on the plant itself, itās prone to rot. I stick a tiny funnel in the dirt where thereās an empty space to water, wait for it to run out the bottom and stop.
1 gillaOkay great! Thank you so SO much for the advice. Im obsessed with how these babies look, so I definitely wanna try to keep her alive! She seems to still be doing okay two days later so I hope and pray I got a goodieāŗļø

Make sure the pot and soil it came in isnāt waterlogged. Iāve had plenty plant mail that I have to immediately repot because the soil came in drenched and was suffocating my plants roots! These babies love drying out and can go a longggg time without being watered. I only water when the leaves start getting softer and not as stiff.
