Hi! I’m new to the group and app. I have this devil’s ivy I believe, and it was lush and green 2 weeks ago, now the vines and leaves are browining and falling off. I’m lost! How do I fix it? I’ve been watering minimally, keeping it in the window for light, I believe some of the vines could have been damaged in transporting the plant, is there anything I can do to save my baby?
Oh no! This is so frustrating when it happens! You have lots of nice healthy leaves so a few yellow isn't too worrisome. What I do is pull the yellow leaves off and check if there's something pushing on the vine, setimes they curl in on themselves and cut off circulation. 😉 If that looks good, I check the underside of the leaves to make sure there are no stowaway bug friends. If that seems fine I go to the soil, make sure there's no bugs or it's too wet. I'll often poke around in there with my finger or a chopstick to see if there's any weird root things happening. If you're still striking out on all those system checks, then I would assume the plant is a bit shellshocked after it's move. I recently repotted 40 plants😎 and a few are super mad about their new house. I've had leaves doing all kinds of crazy things. I'm trying to be patient but it's so hard! Sometimes the answer is to do nothing! The plant is working out some ish and it will be back in no time. They don't call it the devil's ivy for nothing! That plant is near indestructible. 4件のいいねThank you! It’s hard not to worry, but this did just make me feel easy. It’s the one plant that’s dying, and I immediately wanted to fix it. Repotting 40 plants?! Wow!! Congratulations, I hope they all work out! I’m going to try your suggestions and cross my fingers, hopes for the best!
