Hi guys, I have this huge alocasia California that’s been growing crazy since I got her around 4 months ago. The problem is she also drops leaves like crazy. The stems will dehydrate and then droop until it eventually turns yellow. I thought I might’ve been a watering issue but I make sure she’s always moist throughout. There are no bugs or pests, and other than that she is really healthy. Would this be a fertilizing issue by chance? (White powder is diatomaceous earth)

The reason she is losing leaves is because she is growing new ones

You could try support stands to help the stems stay strong and bound to the mother plant?

If you look closely I have about three bamboo stakes exactly for that reason. I’ll support the droopy stems but they’ll eventually die. I’m thinking you’re right and maybe it’s a nutrient thing.
