I went to water the plants today and I watered the mystery plant. It was a grafted tangerine tree that died during the winter, but now their two stalks. On the stalks were two giant swallowtail caterpillars, and I don’t know how to feel about it. What should I do??? I don’t want to hurt them but I’m afraid that it’ll hurt the plant

    I’d just leave them tbh.

Me too. That plant is a survivor. Caterpillars think it’s yummy so it can’t be doing too badly. Maybe coddle the tree as much as you can with tlc.

If it was fungus gnats or something out to kill the plant I would think differently. The caterpillars will move along after this phase and there’s a whole lot of green and leaves in that tree.

Thank you very much :D I can try because I don’t want to hurt the ‘pillars, but if I see over two then I’m probably going to try to relocate them
