Does anyone know why my spider plant has new leaves coming in yellow/brown? Also some of the leaves are becoming weak. I’m thinking it may be an overwatering problem, but if anyone knows please help!

Think it may be overwatering too..

Make sure you potted it right. Think of the pot in thirds. The bottom 1/3 should be rocks and gravel for drainage. New leaves coming in may be root rot which leads to death.

definitely check the roots to make sure they’re healthy and then when you water your soil should dry some before watering again!

This could be from stress from the plant, or an under watering issue. When plants are producing new pups, the rest of the plant usually weakens… they are trying to help that one specific pup grow. That leave that you see there, that is dying, probably died because it was too weak to support the growth of the new pup. (Pup=new sprout)
