I have this spider plant and it’s growing so fast and healthy, especially after I repotted it about 2 months ago. What I have noticed is it has been leaning over to one side and I don’t like the look of it. A Planta doctor told me I don’t need to repot it and that a support stick would help but I’m just thinking of repotting it into a bigger pot anyway because I feel like the pot itself is kind of small for the plant size. I’m hoping that repotting it will fix this problem. The longest leaf length is about 2 feet in a 5 inch pot. Any advice on what to do ?

What is the location of the plant? Is it in bright sunlight or in a darker corner? It looks like it’s reaching towards the sunlight

I have it by the window (I moved it for this picture) and it’s actually leaning towards the right when it is by the window

I am no expert, but I think it could just be top heavy. I don’t think it’s sick or anything, and a support stick might work.

Update : I did repot the plant and I planted my other spider with it, I think you are right that it is top heavy.. I added the support stick which I’m not a big fan of the look but maybe I can find a support stick that is thinner online. Thank you!

When repotting remember the pot size depends on the size of the roots not the actual plant :) maybe planting it lower in the soil would help if you dont want a support stick?
