Anyone know why the new leaves she’s been sprouting already have brown spots on them? Otherwise perfectly healthy plant, I mist often and use filtered water for her

Hoe long have you had this Orbifolia? Seems like it may have been underwatered once or twice while the newest leaves were forming. My horticulturist friend who taught me a lot once explained to me: “most symptoms your plant shows are delayed reactions that were caused usually about 2 weeks prior. So think back to 2 weeks ago to what care or conditions it was in, and that os usually your culprit”. If this plant has only been in your care for a month or so (for example), it may be that the stress of being moved to a new environment/lighting/etc etc caused what you are now seeing. I would just trim the dried edges and keep an eye out for what new growth from this point looks like.

I’ve only had it a couple months! Thanks for the advice (:

Also, calatheas are total pre-madonas, and filtered water may not be satisfactory enough to maintain perfect leaves… you may have to give it distilled water. I once switched from distilled to LA rain water collected with all the storms this winter, and all my calatheas got a bit fussy like that. I switched back to distilled and all the new leaves are perfect. 🤷🏻‍♀️
