Hi I’ve been collecting a plethora of Pothos over the last couple of years but I have one I’m really struggling with - it’s a satin Pothos - bought from a supermarket not a plant specialist and it just won’t grow. It has slowly lost all of its vines but 1 - which has 3 leaves - it’s not dead but its also not doing much of anything. Any new growth it had last year had black spots. I have repotted, it’s not root bound, it gets regular watering and fertilising and as I say it’s not dead because it hasn’t gone black like the other vines did. I’m completely stumped - I’ve managed to propagate from it when one of the vines was dying by putting a healthy portion in water and that one is growing fine but I don’t have it anymore. The original one is another story completely. Any words of wisdom greatly appreciated! (Also posted in Pothos group)

I know it looks like it’s in a really big pot, but I am just putting this out as a possibility. Sometimes when they don’t have room to grow, it can cause this. Also, some pest can stop the growth of your plant, and over time, kill it. I’d do some research on these type of pests, or do the quick fix option and repot your plant and change the soil. Clean the leaves really well and don’t water for maybe a few days after. This is what you should do if you don’t want to inspect the soil for bugs.

I would trim it under a node and put that in water to grow some strong roots. I only water mine every 2-3 weeks so it may be overwatered.
