Every peace lily I have ends up with brown tips on the leaves. The lower ones have turned yellow. I don’t know if it’s the spot it’s in (doesn’t get a whole lot of light) or if watered too much. Please helpppp

Thinking its from the chemicals that are in tap water (chlorine) if you are watering with tap water

Thank you. That’s exactly what I’ve been using for all my plants.

These don’t like tap water. I only give mine distilled or rainwater. Spring water if I’m in a pinch. When you water it, make sure it’s coming out the bottom. Then don’t water it again until it’s lower leaves feel “droopy”. I hope that is helpful :)

Ah that must be it! Should I repot and give it fresh soil or just start using the different water?

I would just start using the different water. Peace lilies can get very stressed out when repotted and there’s really no need to unless the roots are coming out of the bottom of the drainage holes. You can trim off the brown tips if you don’t like the look but they won’t revert back.

I had the same issue and now use rainwater. Just give it a good flush out :)
