Help! My green onions are developing these weird black lines with a thick white bordering line. Is this a pest? Are they salvageable?

    Looks like leaf miner trails, not sure about salvaging though I haven’t grown onions.

    You will have to chop those pieces off. It’ll remove the bugs from inside the stems and because they grow from little bulbs, they’ll reshoot the sprout.
