Scales ???????????? Please please no no no do I need to graft it ? I have no idea what that black stuff is on that one part of it like it’s almost all black

    I have a book called happy cactus that says to: “Rub off the scale, apply methylated spirits with a cotton swab, then immediately spray the affected areas with insecticide.” Also I have no clue what methylated spirits are so if you don’t know, I don’t either 😂
