Can anyone tell me why my bromeliad flower has never opened up? Is this a different sub-species or something? I water it based on what Planta tells me and I have a grow light on it.

    Mine did the same. After the pups came up, I propped them and she’s gone, but I got 5 babies!

    I don’t know what the care schedule is, but they need HIGH HIGH humidity. Lately, I have been visiting friends in Florida and they have lots of rain- and heat! Bromileads are very popular in Florida because they are so easy to grow outdoors! Maybe must it every day or so, and give it some warmer temps.

      Aww thanks!! Do you guys think misting would help in place of the humidity? Should I place it outside for a bit to help with that?
