This is a spider plant that my cat keeps eating anything green on it. Itâs trying to grow again any suggestions on how to keep it away from my fur babies? Hanging isnât an option because I rent.

You can try and get a small bit of chicken wire or just get mesh and either some wire or wooden sticks to hold it up around it. I hope this helps!

I would get some fake plants to get your cat to not know the difference, and some plants put off a funny taste in which is very helpful to cats to teach them to not eat them. I have a plant that my cat ate, and didnât like, so she made a weird face (it was so cute) and she has now learned her lesson. đ

Thatâs too funny but also a pretty good idea. I noticed some plants she doesnât bother, I guess thatâs why itâs not appealing to her pallet đ

Also, if youâve never tried it before bitter apple spray works pretty well. It tastes horrendous but itâs organic so wonât harm your plants or your cats. The taste definitely deters my dog, I just spray it on anything I donât want him to chew/ingest

4 LikesOne of my cats goes NUTS for my spider plant. Iâve got my spider plant on the top shelf of a plant stand about 4 feet up so the majority of it is out of my catâs reach. He can still reach the pups, but he can have those as a little treat.
