Please help! I recently repotted this rattlesnake plant since it didn’t have any drainage holes before. I also put it outside on my East-facing balcony since Planta said it wasn’t getting enough light in my bedroom window (which faces North). However when I put it outside for a day and watered it yesterday, it looked like this by midday today. It was doing just fine before but now I’m really worried that I killed it. What should I do??

Oh dear. Looks like there was some vast misunderstandings. It needs more indirect light. But never any direct sun hitting it. Looks like it got severely sunburned. You would have to cut all the burnt parts of leaves off since you can’t heal that. Not sure what would be left, but you can try and see if you feel still in the game.

Dang :( I guess my balcony is getting more sun than I thought - thank you for the help ❤️

I had done the same thing about a year ago, burnt beyond repair. I chopped all the leaves off and started fresh— then saw some new growth in about a month! As long as your roots are in tact it may come back! Best of luck 🤞🪴

Plants isn’t always right I always double or triple check Planta because Calatheas are easily sunburned

Goodness! If you can’t save it, I would try to propagate it before it loses hope-
