Was there a freeze in your area? Mine looked like this after this winter’s unusual hard freeze in zone 8 and it was absolutely toast :( You can scratch off a small bit of bark to see if the tree is still green or if it is brown and brittle

I live in Scottsdale , it’s 101* hahaha. There is still green under the bark!

This is what mine look like when they get waterlogged. Did they get flooded?
