I recently repotted this little guy from a small seed starter / grow pot where the water was in the bottom of the pot. It’s been about a week or so in the new pot and it has drainage holes, but the leaves are turning colors. I’m wondering if it needs more water or less? the top 2” are dry and there is very little moisture deeper down.

I’d give a good watering til the water starts running out the drainage hole. Then let it be for awhile til it starts to dry up again

I would put her in a slightly smaller pot and let her get fully dry before watering. Also, are you using cactus soil? That will help with drainage

oh, no I am not. Just regular potting soil! I just watered like @GBaby suggested and I will wait on the soil to dry out completely and see how it’s doing after that! I also moved her from the windowsill to my outdoor patio the same day I repotted so maybe it was just a lot of change all at once 🤔

I will keep an eye on her and move her to the smaller pot if the watering didn’t do the trick. Thank you!!
