help!! fungus gnat?? i found this guy in the water of some of my propagations (drinking) and immediately put out a sticky trap. i’ve never had any problems with pests before, but i’ve gotten a lot of new plants recently, and i guess i never thought to check for them. i’ve only found one, but i’m sure there are more. what do i do???

    The sticky traps you have is good. I also tend to bottom water my indoor plants. Some people use sand or pebbles to deter the gnats from laying eggs or emerging from the soil.

    I recently starting using systemic granules on the soil before watering to kill the larvae. It’s been keeping them under control.
