    Cut and propagate

Ah thank you thank you! Do you think it’s better to put them directly in water or on top of soaked soil?

I would cut off all the dead parts and propagate the rest in water until they grow new roots, then you can repot them

Either way works. They propagate easily. I had a similar situation with mine and I cut off all the leggy leafless and dead stem parts to just the sections with leaves and then exposed the bottom nodes and stuck them down into the soil same pot they were in. A few weeks later now they are coming back and growing. Also root hormone powder on the bottom node before sticking into soil helps for speed, but not required.
