hey all. i recently got this alocasia polly / alocasia amazonica and i also had recently watered it after bringing it home and the leaves are now looking like this. so i was just wondering if anyone knew what the cause of it is?

Cristi and GraysonOurs looks like that but that’s because we sprayed neem oil on it and then put it in sun so yours could just be getting too much light but it also looks a little bit like lack of water.

well it’s interesting bc this started happening a bit after watering it so maybe overwatering? but possibly also sun bc it’s right by the window. so idk

AaronDid you water it thoroughly? Like you wet all of the soil completely? Also if you live in the northern hemisphere & it’s right up against a south window it could be sunburn.

i thought i watered it completely haha. but yeah i’m in midwest of the US and it was in a southwest facing window pretty close to it
