This is my ugly little houseleek haha. When I bought it a year or so ago it was cute. I didn’t know much about it or how it would grow. Is this normal? Should I be doing something differently?

What a cutie 🌱 It looks like it’s a little etiolated from lower light in relation to the temperature. There are many different species and cultivars of houseleek and their hardiness varies, but they do best in the long run grown outside and most are also rather cold hardy. I recommend keep growing it as you’ve done until now, but later on in summer you can start acclimating it to the outdoors environment and let it grow like an outdoor plant. This way it will do best in the long run. An alternative to houseleeks indoors are different Echeverias that look similar but does better in room temperature all year around

I didn’t even realize it was etoliated actually. I wasn’t sure if that was just the way that it grew lol. And now that I look at pictures of healthier plants I see that they shouldn’t grow like that. I had it in the brightest window in my house. Thanks again for the advice.
