Hello, I am curious to know if my plant watering should change during the winter as well as using a fertilizer. I live in the Midwest so we do have extreme weather. Thank you!

Usually during the colder months, less watering is required. I’d always err on the side of checking the soil first! I usually give my plants a nice big fertilizer gulp right before winter and then kind of let them go into their more natural dormancy period. If you have them super close to a window I’d insulate it or pull the plant further away to avoid temperature shock. Best of luck!!!! Happy gardening (:

0 J'aimeSorry, one more question. What about misting? Do I pull back as well?
1 j'aimeI always mist… especially if the room has good air flow. The whole point of misting is to kinda trick the plant into thinking the humidity is higher! You can back off a bit if you’d like to but I usually stay the same year round!!
