Are the marks on my monstera from pests?? I also just got this ficus elastica burgundy, what are the white spots?

    Ficus Elastica don’t love excess mineral so they expel a ton through their leaves! I know some people use distilled to try to minimize this. You can just wipe the leaves down with a wet cloth! Sorry I can’t be more help for the monstera

      Great! Thank you:) I got her yesterday and thought it was just water spots, I wiped the leaves already but as soon as it dried they came back. My ficus tineke doesn’t have this problem though, so hopefully after a few waterings they’ll go away!

      The nursery water must’ve been pretty hard! I’m glad you don’t have to deal with it at home!

    monstera looks normal — those spots are likely just from random little water inconsistencies/edema/etc. bumps on the new stem totally normal
