Hi Planta peeps! I was wondering your thoughts… this croton is near dead, but I think the roots seem fine. I’ve been trying to see if it’ll come back, but I feel like it’s been months and no progress. I hate to throw away the plant if there’s still potential, but I feel like hope is gone. Any thoughts?
Throw it away. Buy another healthy one. You’ve spent months fretting over roots. Plants should be enjoyable is my take on it. 🪴🍀

0 likesThey’re white, not black or soggy, so I thought they were fine
1 likeYou can see one of them is hollow with a stringy center. That's a clear sign the root is dead. Also the base of the stem is completely shriveled
