Pretty sure I killed my prayer plant here… it was foundering in the terrarium, so I moved it into well-draining soil. Didn’t see any black roots, but could I have missed something? Any tips for next time?

Give it some time! Mine is so dang picky and I thought I killed it a couple months ago. It was nice and full and then all the leaves turned yellow/brown and fell off except for like 4 on the three stems I have. I repotted it and it’s still a little scraggly looking but has been doing well and putting out lots of new leaves lately. I feel like mine likes to be sort of damp and if I let it dry out completely, the leaf ends start to turn brown. But it’s making nice progress now. I have hope for you, too!! 🤗

Mine lost all of its leaves and I was about to toss it, then it grew a leaf. I put it back in rotation and that leaf died. I gave up again and then it grew 2 leaves. Let’s see what happens next 🤷🏽‍♀️. I know that it is sensitive to chemicals in the water and doesn’t like direct sunlight but other than that, we are figuring it out along the way.

These plants don’t like to dry out. They will and no in certain terms let you know.
