It’s kind of hard to tell but there are these really small black dots in my monstera, I did see a few really small black bugs crawling but killed the few I saw before realizing I didn’t take a photo. Anyone have any idea what it is and what I can do? I tried googling but didn’t have luck

Treat it with neem oil or an insecticidal soap. Treat the nearby plants. Wear gloves and disinfectant tools and hands to prevent spreading them.

I’m not 100% sure which insect caused the damage. Spider mites would leave webs especially if the damage is recent. Greenleaf is correct that thrips can cause similar damage. The photo doesn’t show any insects. So, I can’t confirm. But, insecticidal soap and neem oil can eradicate most insects.

Could be spider mites. Spray off the plant and include the underside of the leaves before treating with something like neem oil.

The silvery patches with black dots (their poop) is classic signs of Thrips. There is lots of good information online about how to treat them. Whatever you choose, you need to make sure you treat the plant and the soil due to how their growth stages go. And repeat the treatment for at least 21 days (the length of their life cycle).
