Hello! My Pilea is hurting. Some of my other plants have thrips, though I haven’t found any on this plant and I am treating it. I have some gnats flying around and are trapping those too. I repotted this plant a few months ago and it has been doing really well… but suddenly the leaves are turning yellow, white, and brown spotted. This is the third leaf I took off and the least affected so far. HELP! What’s wrong with her and how can I help?
I’m not good with that plant. It died quickly😢

What are your watering habits and how often do you fertilize her?
0 LikesI typically water once a week. I haven’t fertilized in a while. I figured what was in the soil was fine
0 LikesAre you checking for the plant being ready for water before you water it just doing it once a week? If the soil is damp 1-2” below the surface, you don’t need to water. What kind of soil is she in? They like a well draining soil. I would recommend adding perlite and orchid bark to your soil mix to aid in drainage. They like to have a good drink and then not be super damp. The fertilizer in the soil mix won’t last forever, so adding a well balanced fertilizer with your waterings would be a good idea. I do 1/2 strength with every watering through the spring/summer and not during the winter. I’m in New England so we have distinct growing seasons.

overwatering. they're more like succulents than anything else, excellent at water retention. those transparent rings in your other comment are early overwatering edema, the roots are taking in more water than the plant can use and cells in the leaves are bursting. not detrimental, those leaves can be saved, but the damage is not reversible
