Help! I recently got this plant which I was told was an African Mask. I’m not sure why the leaves are doing this only in certain parts !!!

    It’s a dragon scale alocasia :) They’re very sensitive to over-watering and I think that’s what it looks like. I actually keep mine in just sphagnum moss and mist the moss when the top layer gets dry

    Because alocasias like their moisture I’ve been having better luck with my dragons scale in semi-hydro rather than soil!

      Good idea - semi-hydro allows them to have access to water all the time, without suffocating the roots
