This pothos keeps pushing out ugly leaves! It doesnt have direct sunlight, but lots of grow light and indirect light. I recently up-potted it so I am hoping that will improve the fresh growth. Has anyone else had a pothos that pushed out wrinkly/brown spotted leaves?

Did it get brown over time or just come out like that?

The variegated leaves are older so I’m unsure on that. The green leaves came out wrinkly and brown spotted

I have! I dont see anything creepy crawly. Ive had aphids, mealy bugs, and flies on other plants in a different room, never this one

I have one like that, but it’s been due to different issues. I’m not much help, but encouragement that you are not alone.😊 Mine was in my bathroom window and had happy leaves but not variegated, so I moved it and have gotten crispy leaves ever since. 🤪 First was due to being outside during our wet months, and it got dry and hot within a week and I didn’t bring it inside quick enough so the forming leaves were like that. I had it in the garage for a few days while deciding where to put it back in my house and a fan was constantly blowing on it so it pushed out another crispy leaf, even though I was misting it daily. I moved it in my kitchen under a really bright grow light and got another crispy leaf. So I assume it was too bright? Currently I’m still misting daily and have it back in my bathroom window with a grow light further away, so hoping for no more crispy leaves! Do you mist it? Maybe it needs more humidity?

I was thinking it might be a humidity issue! I mist when planta pro tells me to, but maybe it wants more than that ~once a week schedule

TX is so hot and dry, I have been misting my pothos and philodendron daily. The one that is giving me trouble is the first one I got so I didn’t have a grow light in the bathroom yet. It’s the only one that got moved around and is the only one giving me trouble. The ones that have been in the bathroom being misted 2x daily are happy with me. Mind you, I have a vent to pull the moisture out of our bathroom that runs for a few hours every day so 1x a day would probably be enough in a normal bathroom.

I wonder if it needs to be watered more often. Mine are smaller than yours so less dirt to hold water, but I water mine every 2-3 days. They are in cactus soil in a terracotta pot so that makes a difference too. If you are just following planta, check the dirt every few days to see when it actually dries out fully. It could need to be watered sooner. I water mine when the dirt is mostly fully dry.

these are signs of inconsistent/improper watering. did you see anything funny going on with the roots when you repotted? does your pot have drainage? are you letting it dry out before watering again?

Roots looked healthy and happy - all white! I let it dry out completely before watering again - maybe that it too dry for its preference.
