I don't remember having this problem before. I ordered an olive tree online. It looked OK when it got here but the soil seemed absolutely drenched so I repotted it. It then dropped all its leaves but it's still alive. The soil isn't overly wet. So why the heck am I getting mushrooms? Lol anything I should worry about?

    They’re not necessarily anything to worry about if the soil isn’t staying wet for too long. I just pluck them out.

    Mushrooms can also indicate a nice healthy soil 😊

    If they show up frequently, that can indicate overwatering or poor drainage, but otherwise they just like the soil. The mushroom blooms tend to fade quickly, so whether you keep them or remove them, you'll want to pluck them out at some point. As for the mycellium (mushroom roots and most of its life cycle), it's present in most soil. You can kill it with any basic fungicide, but unless you're sterilizing all your soil, it'll be back. Blooms can also indicate plenty of fixed nitrogen in the soil; they tend to bloom after thunderstorms in the wild
