if my monstera is getting way more light than it ever has before and it’s starting to give me smaller leaves with less fenestrations (probably spelled that wrong🫣) does that most likely mean her problem lies in the roots?? i’m really praying it’s not root rot. the leaves look so happy and healthy and firm but they are smaller!! so frustrating

it likely needs fertilizer. how often are you fertilizing? new leaves are tingly lighter and will darken in my experience

omg shame on me🫣🫣😩 i barely fertilize because im so unsure of the best way and the best one to use for her. the one i do have is concentrated 111 but i only use it every now and then and only a little of it i’m probably overly cautious

these are the two latest leaves and the fenestraions are less and less and the one coming out of the sheath looks smaller in size now also😖 but there’s no yellowing or anything like that

that’s okay! if it’s concentrate, i’d start slowly and fertilize while watering once a month and see what happens!
