This silver snake plant always looks so sad. I’ve moved it into a smaller pot, moved it around the house, given it less water… but nothing works ):

Is it a snake plant or a spider plant? Too much change too fast for a plant can be extremely stressful. I’d recommend finding a bring indirect light spot in your house and keep an eye on her. Make sure she is watered when the soil is 50% or more dry. When you repotted it, were there any mushy roots? When you water it, how dry is the soil? How do you water it (bottom watering, top watering, etc.)? The soil might have become hydrophobic.

I believe it’s a Sayuri Snake plant. When I repotted it, it did have some mushy roots, which I tried to remove. It also had some nice thick healthy roots that I kept. I haven’t been watering it much since it’s been having problems. I usually wait till it is completely dry to water. I repotted with new soil about two months ago.

I’d recommend getting a nice sandy type soil mixture. Snake plants don’t need tons of water and it most likely will need time to grow new roots and recover

Sayuri snake plant, I think. Definitely a snake plant, just not 100% sure what type.

I have a snake plant that just seemed to stall. I moved it the a thick horticultural grit/seramis mix so it’s many grit and gave it more light and it has bounced back amazingly. Not sure if that will help but hope it can do
