This is Mars(I have her listed as an Aloe but Im really not sure) and Im not exactly sure whats happening. This was taken about 2 weeks ago before her repot. Ive had her for about 2 years or so and around last year I noticed she was loosing leaves a lot(they would dry up or start browning). So I finally decided to look and this(the photo) is what she looked like. Since I didn’t know much about what was wrong I decided to take off her brown leaves and put her in some succulent/cacti soil. If i could get any help with her that would be awesome!

I believe that is a haworthia. A succulent. Taking off those leaves is a good idea but as for soil usually a well draining slightly chunky succulent soil. If unsure let it dry out more than overwater. I used to give a good amount of water to my haworthia and then let it dry out until next water. For sun fairly full sun but if it gets crisp then move it farther away.
