I want to see this grow. I've had it for a while now and its only pushed out one leaf. I took a piece of it and placed it in water and its growing great. Thinking about putting this in the water as well. Please help.

    Snake plants take forever to grow! If you’re having success in water I’d say throw it in water til it’s root system is more developed, then pot it :)

      You could also see how snake plants do in leca as well

    snake plants grow quickly with lots of light and proper fertilizing. my plant put out 8 pups over the summer. it sits in a big SW facing window. i wouldn’t leave this in water long term. these want to dry out, hydro is not a good option for a snake plant outside of propagation
