Why are my angel wing begonia leaves curling in on themselves? I just recently planted her from water propagation about a month or two ago. It sits on my east facing windowsill getting morning sun & i have a humidifier for this one & my rex begonia. I did use Neem oil & systemic house plant insect control last week to try to get the gnats under control.
It could need watering. If you just planted it from water propagation it needs moist soil for a week or so until it acclimates to soil
0 J'aime Sorry, just reread your post and saw that you had transplanted it a couple months ago. But it still wouldn't hurt to check to see if it needs water. 🫤

are those flowers? if so, cut them off asap. flowers are huge energy suckers, and your plant looks way too small to support flowers.

Hi, Begonias cannot dry out. It will make the leaves crisp and dry. Terracotta dries really fast. You can use plastic inside that pot and it’ll do better but the roots are growing and hitting the edge of the terracotta and shriveling up and it’s making the plant sad ( because begonias need to grow more roots to drink the gallons of water it wants to drink)

1 j'aime If you can safely remove the whole root ball without disturbing it too much, yes. It’ll be happier in plastic.
