I am looking for advice on pot size for this Thai constellation. It’s growing sideways now in this 6 inch pot. Is this normal? Or do I need to put it in a bigger pot?🤗

I’d keep that pot for now, size up in the spring or the summer. When you choose a pot, you’re gonna wanna take the pot that you have right now and be able to comfortably fit it into another pot with not much space

It’s looking for a pole to climb that’s why it looks like it’s growing sideways. You can add a moss pole to the pot when you repot. 🪴🍀

Might be nice to add some propagations.

Definitely.looking to climb, but doing better than mine is lmao, they tend to like pushing roots out in a but smaller of an open space than most plants, so don't leave too much extra room. I usually repot when I absolutely must or after around a year.

monstera are climbers/ crawlers. if there's no way for it to go up, it goes sideways. if you don't like it being sideways, you can get a moss pole or a stake. i personally recommend a simple 2x4 plank, moss poles are too much work for me. letting it climb will also reward you with bigger leaves !

Thanks for the info! I like the plank idea. With 100 plants now I opt for anything easier.🙃
