Bought this plant without checking the roots…big mistake. Extreme root rot!! Already soaked it in water with a mix of hydrogen peroxide. What the best way to cut the roots and save this plant as alllll the roots are infected?? Anything helps😅😅

I bought a fern like that with the same issue. The plant lived for almost a year before I had to cut my loses because it wasn’t able to recover. I hope you find the best information here to save that beautiful plant!

0 Mi piaceI have a birds nest fern and they do not like the roots sopping wet so would just put it in a well chunky draining soil and water it and place it in a north facing window or a few feet from a east or west facing window and do not water it until the soil is completely dry. Bottom water after only until you get it in a watering schedule. I would also touch the roots and cut of the mushy ones
1 mi piaceCut the mushy roots and just hope for the best with the rest
0 Mi piaceAll the roots are mushy so do I just cut all of them??😅
