I don’t know if anyone can help with my extremely sad Peperomia Quito, but I will gladly take any opinions and knowledge I can get. Left pic is when I got it, right pic is what it looks like today 😭 I had this Quito shipped to me from out of state VIA Etsy and it arrived at my home on September 12th. The plant looked healthy overall with only a couple of leaves showing blackened edges. But I noticed right away the soil was extremely wet, almost mud-like so I repotted it into new soil. I use Grow Queen Aroid mix for my Peperomias because they usually thrive in it. It comes pre-moistened and so I didn’t water the plant after repotting. I have had it sitting in a south-facing window that doesn’t get direct sunlight this time of year due to a building next door blocking direct rays, but it gets decent ambient light. Fast forward to today. This thing has COMPLETELY flopped over. A couple of leaves have mushy brown stems that I removed and the stems are so mushy the leaves fall right off the stems without me applying any force to them. I moved the plant into a west-facing window that gets direct sunlight in the afternoon that I filter with blinds. What else can I do for this plant? Is this from overwatering like I’m suspecting, or does it actually need water and I’m completely misreading the situation? I don’t want to overcorrect and do a million things to an already stressed plant, but I also can’t sit by and do nothing, either. Anything anyone can recommend is extremely helpful, thank you so much in advance!
